MIRIAM HASKELL TORSADE NECKLACE WITH ART DECO CENTER STATION
This striking necklace features 6 strands of faceted jet black glass beads which culminate (at the clasp area) into large, japanned black, filigree, bead caps that attach each side to the sliding clasp closure. At the bottom center there is a unique, elegant, Art Deco style station which resembles a large slide. The 6 strands of black beads run all the way through it. This station is made of antique gold filigree metal with a top piece that has clear baguette rhinestones and smaller clear round rhinestones wired onto it. It is further enhanced by black glass beads which are wired all along the outer edge of it. Very cool design and construction. The clasp has the patent number stamped onto it which dates it to 1969. The signed Miriam Haskell cartouche is also present. A classic Haskell necklace which looks fabulous on and is always in fashion.
