Product Description

Charming Late Art Nouveau / Early 1920's Art Deco Trembler Brooch. Pin. It's almost exact to the Trifari  orchid trembler brooch from that era but from my research this is a brooch made by Singer & Kantor circa 1930's. These are getting more difficult to find now days...

Exceptional vintage condition with brilliant stones

This lovely pin features tiny pave set rhinestones all over with a purple, marquise cut, rhinestone, in the center of the bloom.  It also features an intricate, 3 dimensional, design, with amazing body and form. Adding to that, the bottom flower bulb, which is set on a spring at the back, allows it  to move. Originally it trembled more but at this stage in its' life it has to be touched to get it to move. No matter, it's so beautiful and if that's all it shows of aging it's done very well, lol!  I have cleaned it since it was quite dusty when I purchased it so it is sparkling beautifully now. All stones are present, some stones have faded slightly, and if you look closely you may see a bit of darkening on a few as well. But overall, when you view it normally it is brilliant! The unique locking clasp functions properly and the silver metal is nice also with some darkening seen in small areas. Nothing serious. Not sure of the silver content, looks to be plated cast or pot metal. ? It has a stamped signature on the back of one petal which looks to be a hallmark of sorts.

The Brooch Pin measures approx.  2~1/4 " across  at the widest point x 1~ 3/4"  from top to bottom.
