Product Description

Gorgeous little Victorian watch fob brooch, but one can hang any other lovely drop from it as well. Perhaps a heart or pearl drop for sentimental remembrance sweet love

Dating to the 1880's,  or even a bit earlier, it has a rich gold finish on it which resembles 18k gold but is actually either pinchbeck or ormolu.

This charming piece features a flower and leaves design where iridescent peachy pink enamel has been applied onto the flower petals. A small freshwater pearl set in the center of the blossom makes it especially sweet. Please note the older C clasp closure which also dates it somewhat earlier that other brooches of this type usually seen for sale these days.
It has a hallmark on the pin itself. I think it is French but am not 100% positive. What it looks like is a squiggle in an oblong, box shaped outline, then the letters DR, perhaps PR, then Sil with maybe a smaller v after that. Hopefully someone will be able to recognize this mark. I did get a couple of nice close up photos which are enlarged so maybe I'll get some info on it.

In beautiful antique condition there are no issues to point out other than a tiny spot of wear on the enamel. This is much more noticeable in the enlarged photos, very minimal when viewing it normally. It does not affect the beauty of this little treasure , but noted
